Groundhog day (yesterday)

I am absolutely certain that Punxsutawney Phil was not in Dallas yesterday. First of all, when it was time for him to come out of his hole, Dallas was so covered in fog that there was no way he could have seen his shadow as he did in Pennsylvania. Also, as he was predicting six more weeks of winter by running back into his hole, snapdragons, pansies, and crocuses were blooming all around the building where I work. I even found some daffodils when I went walking today. Just look! 🙂

I didn’t post all of the pictures of all of the flowers because I ended up with over 100 pictures total. Don’t worry, they weren’t all of flowers. 🙂 I really like digital cameras! Here’s a picture of the building where I work, and another of the flags out front.

And finally, pictures of all of the rain we got last Friday night

and my husband with the gigantic piece of meat that he found for just 99 cents a pound. (He grilled it and it was SOOOOO good. He made it into Texas-style barbecue with homemade barbecue sauce.)

Yum. 🙂
