traditions

This time of year is a bit sad in Texas because it feels nothing like fall, even though we know it should.  So two years ago we started a tradition on November 1st.  We both like listening to Christmas music, and so we begin listening to Christmas music on that day.  But we also decided that we would have chai tea to drink and pumpkin pie to eat.  Those two things remind me a lot of fall, and so they help us feel a little more like Christmas might be on its way.  So yesterday we had chai, listened to Christmas music, and ate homemade pumpkin pie.  What a fun day! 🙂

I was getting ready to add the pictures I took of our new paint in our living room, but unfortunately they didn’t come out right.  I’ll take new ones and try again soon. 🙂
